Biography

Dr. Patel is a trauma surgeon, emergency/elective general surgeon, and surgical critical care intensivist for Emory's Department of Surgery based at Grady Memorial Hospital. He received his MD degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 2006. His postgraduate medical training included a surgical research fellowship and general surgery residency at Rhode Island Hospital, Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed a trauma surgery fellowship at Grady Memorial Hospital in 2015, and his critical care fellowship at Grady in June 2016.
